I have been buying this product for over 2 years from mowtownusa via amazon. I had always paid $6.99/spool. Amazon has apparently switched vendors and the new vendor is charging $20 per spool. NOT A TYPO>>>>>$20!
Of course i will search elsewhere to purchase this item.....and possibly start looking for competetive prices on other merchandise.

A rip off
Go to your local Ace Hardware and buy this item for $7.99. Save yourself the $7.99 "shipping charge". Whatta ripoff.
Weed Eater replacement spool
Item arrived on time and in perfect condition. It was exactly as described. I wish there had been more line in the spool--looks like it would have held more, and the line is the least expensive part. Overall, very satisified with the purchase.
