Exact replacement part I needed
This part was an exact replacement part for my weed eater....check the black and decker web site with your model number (make sure you include type) This part fits a variety of grass trimmers. The reviewer who gave this a negative review probably ordered it for an incompatible model. This cap fits the following models according to the black and decker web site. (see below) Similar part sometimes carried by some Home Depot Stores. Save the gas and tax, it's cheaper at Amazon if you can combine it with another order and get free shipping.

Finally!!!!!!
This is the first time I have found the bump cap sold alone. I love the ST100 trimmer but the bump cap seems to wear out so being able to buy the bump cap by itself is nice. This is going to be great!
I just recently purchased five more of these and the seller combined the shipping charges to make them much more affordable. These work just fine and the price is right. The seller has been totally awesome everytime I have made a purchase!

Just what I needed. My Weed Eater was still in good shape and all I needed was this part to make it like new. Ten bucks for this part is much better then sixty bucks for a new trimmer. Glad I found it.
