Machine works well, bad customer service
The machine works well after I got the right parts from local store. However, customer service with Tanaka is very bad. Make sure you get the name of the person you talk to. The employee number and the confirmation for his promises for the parts. I would have rated 4 for the performance of the machine. I would rate 2-3 for customer service. Since the review should be about the performance of the machine. i will give it a 4.
Things to keep me from giving a 5 on the machine.
1. the plastic cover the engine outside seems to be weak. Easy to break.
2. The design for the trimmer head is not good. It is very hard to remove the head to reload the string. It does take a lot of force to remove the trimmer head by pushing in the two tabs.
3. The machine does not come with the cable to hang the machine on your shoulder.
