Definably not for commercial use. Snapper knows what is good but is not possible for this price.
I have had this trimmer for one year. It is basically a home owners trimmer with the added feature of having a large 4 stroke engine. It is obvious where Snapper spent money on this product and where they did not. It starts up well (like all 4 stroke trimmers) if you leave the throttle closed as opposed to being completely open like the manual states. For light duty work the deficiencies are not apparent. The Engine starts well ,runs well and I really like the design and feel of the whole product. It does not burn or leak oil through the air cleaner. It is balanced well and the controls are convenient to use. However from the motor on down it is constructed out of either extremely light weight materials or plastic. If you drop this trimmer on the soft ground by accident it will most likely break. The angle geared part at the end is very small and I doubt it would hold up to having a brush cutter blade on it for long.This is too bad because the engine has plenty of power...
